Spring

Oh, what beauty and abundance! Baby veggies and roast lamb are popular main ideas, while dessert is a table full of mini desserts enshrouded with edible blossoms. Go wild with coconut, gooseberries, bananas and lemons.

Summer

Hot, hot, hot! Start your meal with an antipasti spread on each table. It will be bright, colourful and a great way for your guests to get chatting. For mains, go for something that can be served with an array of salads. Think poached fish or chilled roast beef. When it comes to a summer dessert, we imagine plenty of meringue, berries and whipped cream.

Autumn

Take inspiration from the colour of the harvest season and fallen leaves, like a warming roasted pumpkin soup or individual goat’s cheese and vegetable tarte Tatin. Chicken or Beef with a rich mushroom sauce are great main-course options. Make dessert all about cheese platters, pears, figs and sticky puddings.

Winter

Picture your guests seated before steaming bowls of coq au vin or beef bourguignon, cradling mugs of mulled wine. And for dessert? Chocolate! Serve your favourite choccie dishes hot with chilled spiced custard.
